The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is the Standards Setting Institution for Drugs in India. The responsibility of publishing Indian Pharmacopoeia lies with IPC.
The latest Version of Indian Pharmacopoeia was published in 2010 and is the 6th edition
IP-2010 has more than 2000+ drug monographs. New methods have been introduced for analysis of Herbals, Biologicals and Veterinary Products
